North Dakota: Deputy U.S. Marshal Arrested In Target Store Peeping Case

A deputy U.S. Marshal has been arrested for allegedly peeping on a 16-year-old girl in a Target changing room.

Michael Rivera, 29, of Bismarck, was charged with criminal attempt in South Central District Court Monday.

Rivera has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation, U.S. Marshal Paul Ward said.

On June 14, the teen told a manager at Target that a man placed a phone under her dressing room door with the camera face up, police said. When she walked out, the man entered a different dressing room.
